The artists being shown at Constantly Consuming Culture--The Art Show all have some work shown below. There are also brief, individual pieces on the artists in this section of the website. The event is sponsored by Mapanare.us and the Bolden Family Foundation.
The opening night soiree takes place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 222 N. Desplaines St (NW corner of Desplaines and Lake, downstairs in the Robert Bills Contemporary space--the gallery isn't connected to this show). The show will be up until the following Friday.
Artists include; John Schedler, Julia Hamilton, John Airo, Elyse Martin, Serena Toxicat, Gretchen Hasse and Mez Data. The pieces below are not necessarily going to be in the show (some will be).
All artists currently reside in the Chicago area except Toxicat (San Francisco) and Data (Austin, TX).
